THE
ENVIRONMENT
Ghelari
has about 2300 inhabitants and was created around
the iron mine.
The
mine is no longer in production, but the history
of the iron and steel is present in a large extent.
The surrounding villages give a good impression
of the Romanian countryside in the mountains area.
There is a lot of forest and the environment offers
beautiful views of the surrounding valleys.
At
about 50 km are the RETEZAT Mountains,in the south
and the PARING
in the south- east mountains which snowy peaks can

"PANORAMA"
is a four-star guesthouse just outside the
village of GHELARI in Hunedoara County in
the west of Romania.
The guesthouse opened in 2008 and
is located in a mountainous area at an altitude
of about 800 meters in north-east
of Poiana Rusca Mountain.
It offers a wide view with a magnificent panorama
of almost 360 degrees. An ideal place for
guests, who like space, discover wild nature
and a relaxed environment. |
